Les erreurs d\u2019identification sont fr\u00e9quentes, m\u00eame chez les mycologues avertis. Au Qu\u00e9bec, on la retrouve sous tous les climats.<\/p>\n<p>On d\u00e9nombre au Qu\u00e9bec plus de trente esp\u00e8ces de petites vesses-de-loup du genre <em>Lycoperdon <\/em>qui d\u00e9composent la mati\u00e8re organique ou ligneuse et elles ont colonis\u00e9 un grand nombre\u00a0 d\u2019habitats. Souvent on les regroupe sous le nom de vesse-de-loup perl\u00e9e, la seule qui est comestible.<\/p>\n<p>La vesse-de-loup perl\u00e9e se distingue par les protub\u00e9rances en forme d\u2019\u00e9pines qui recouvrent ses fructifications et par les petites boules, ou perles *<span class=\"champ-numero\">4*<\/span> *<span class=\"champ-numero\">5*<\/span>, qui sont intercal\u00e9es entre celles-ci. Elles ont comme caract\u00e9ristique de se d\u00e9tacher et de tomber au sol si on les froisse ou si on les manipule. Le m\u00fbrissement d\u00e9bute par le haut de la fructification *<span class=\"champ-numero\">4*<\/span> et, d\u00e8s que celui-ci s\u2019amorce *<span class=\"champ-numero\">6*<\/span>, elles ne sont plus propres \u00e0 la consommation.<\/p>\n<p>Les trois derni\u00e8res photos *<span class=\"champ-numero\">7*<\/span> *<span class=\"champ-numero\">8*<\/span> *<span class=\"champ-numero\">9*<\/span> illustrent d\u2019autres esp\u00e8ces de <em>lycoperdons <\/em>qui fructifient dans divers habitats.
