Ces arbres sont souvent bless\u00e9s ou taill\u00e9s permettant l\u2019introduction discr\u00e8te de ces champignons qui, une fois en place, fructifieront pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. La structure de l\u2019arbre est affaiblie, mais seul le cueilleur ou l\u2019observateur attentif le sait.<\/p>\n<p>Le shimeji du h\u00eatre fructifie \u00e0 toutes les hauteurs sur l\u2019arbre aussi bien dans sa cime que pr\u00e8s du sol. En Asie, ce champignon est cultiv\u00e9 sur une grande \u00e9chelle et export\u00e9 \u00e0 travers le monde, m\u00eame au Qu\u00e9bec. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un cultivar ou d\u2019une esp\u00e8ce de petite taille par comparaison \u00e0 celle qui est cueillie en Mauricie.<\/p>\n<p>Cette s\u00e9rie de trois photos *<span class=\"champ-numero\">4*<\/span>\u00a0*<span class=\"champ-numero\">5*<\/span>\u00a0*<span class=\"champ-numero\">6*<\/span> illustre une croissance \u00e9tal\u00e9e sur 29 jours. Comme quoi l\u2019expression \u00ab \u00c7a pousse comme des champignons \u00bb n\u2019est pas toujours fond\u00e9e. \u00c0 cette p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e et d\u00fb \u00e0 leur position en hauteur dans les arbres, ces champignons sont peu parasit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Comme pour le shimeji de l\u2019orme, le pire ennemi du shimeji du h\u00eatre est la dessiccation par le soleil et le vent.
