R\u00e9duit en poudre, il est souvent consomm\u00e9 en tisanes ou incorpor\u00e9 aux aliments. En nature, il cro\u00eet fr\u00e9quemment sur les souches et les troncs morts de la pruche et, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion, sur les souches et les troncs de bouleau. En culture, le ganoderme luisant peut se d\u00e9velopper sur le bois de nombreuses essences d\u2019arbres r\u00e9sineux ou feuillus.<\/p>\n<p>Le ganoderme luisant amorce sa fructification \u00e0 la fin de juin *<span class=\"champ-numero\">1*<\/span> pour \u00eatre r\u00e9colt\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du mois d\u2019aout *<span class=\"champ-numero\">2*<\/span>. Au cours de cette longue p\u00e9riode de croissance, il est fr\u00e9quemment ravag\u00e9 par les larves d\u2019insectes; il y a lieu de l\u2019entourer d\u2019un tissu ou d\u2019un grillage protecteur pour obtenir des fructifications intactes. Les fructifications de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente ont perdu leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s curatives *<span class=\"champ-numero\">3*<\/span> et doivent demeurer sur le terrain.<\/p>\n<p>Le ganoderme luisant produit des fructifications annuelles et fait partie de la famille des polypores, ces champignons qui portent des tubes *<span class=\"champ-numero\">5*<\/span> difficilement s\u00e9parables de la chair de leur chapeau.
